• Welcome visitors! If you would like to be on our mailing list, please fill out a welcome slip (available on stands in the back) and place in the offering plate or the prayer request box in the foyer. Thank you.
• Hard copies of the August Trinity Times and calendar are available in the foyer.
• Recycle your old or unused Bibles! Diana Fatzinger is collecting Bibles to ship to the Bible League. Bibles can have markings, writing and highlighting. Please put your Bible donations in the box under the foyer table marked Bible donations by the end of August. If you have any questions, please contact Diana at 299-0299.
• Youth and Family Afternoon at Camp Rockmont: Sunday, September 7 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Bring a modest swimsuit and towel and any food you want for the afternoon. Directions: www.rockmont.com
• New and returning college students: please give your college mailing address, your phone number, and your email address to the office as soon as you know it. Thank you.

MISSIONS

• Cookies for fall InterVarsity outreach: Doug and Rachel will collect them at church on Sunday, August 24...to be used that evening. Like last year, we are asking for chocolate chip or sugar cookies (Ziploc bagged in groups of 3). Thank you for your baking and prayers on our behalf as we seek to love new students on campus.
• Goodbye Picnic for the Pardigons: Flavien and Inyange’s last Sunday with us is August 24. Please plan to stay after Sunday School and the congregational meeting for a picnic on the grounds. Bring food for your family and chairs or a blanket! Susan Wood (MTW missionary to Portugal) will be returning to the states for 6 months. She is staying at the mission house at Arden Presbyterian. We would like to welcome her home by collecting freezer meals and gift cards. If you would like to bring a meal, please label it and place in our church freezer. If you would like to donate an Ingles or Wal-Mart gift card, please place in the Missions mailbox in the office or give it to Dawn Moore. Dawn will deliver everything the first week of September so have your meals and cards to church by August 31. Susan is also in need of a car during her Home Ministry Assignment. ADULT CHOIR

• Our rehearsals resume this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Please contact Anthony if you would like to sing with us, even just through Christmas. There is no audition.

WOMEN

• Women’s Presbytery retreat: October 24 and 25 at Ridgehaven. Susan Hunt, author of many of the books that we have studied, will be our speaker. Flyers are available in the foyer. Please turn in your form and check to the church office.
• Ladies, join us for an informational brunch on Sunday, August 24 in the worship area during Sunday School. This is a great fellowship time to hear about upcoming opportunities in the Women’s Ministry.

MEN

• Men, please volunteer with Elaine to sub for our women Sunday School teachers on August 24. This will make it possible for them to attend the Ladies’ brunch.

CHILDREN

The worship childcare class has been divided into twos & threes and fours & fives. Care for twos & threes (Room 102) is during the entire service and care for the fours & fives (Room 103) begins during the sermon.
• Please prayerfully consider ministering to our children in one of these two great ministry opportunities: 1. Worship childcare: We need teachers for a once a month rotation and subs. 2. Sunday School teachers and subs are needed for the school year, September 7, 2008 through June 7, 2009 for the following classes: twos, fours, and First grade.
• Fall Sunday School Teacher and Nursery Worker training on Sunday, August 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in rooms 204 and 205. Wednesday Afternoon Kids Camp forms are available in the foyer and on the website. Leaders are needed for the various activities. Please contact Elaine to volunteer! We begin September 10.
