Trinity's Care Partners

Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

The vision of the Care Partners ministry involves a woman coming alongside another woman in times of challenging circumstances. This care would offer prayer and encouragement on a regular basis. No special counseling skills are required. Instruction in ways to be an effective care partner is provided on an ongoing basis.

Philemon 6 (NASV) says, “…and I pray that the fellowship (koinonia) of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ’s sake.”

Koinonia is a Greek word that refers to close-knit fellowship or Spirit-filled membership. Inherent in the word is a sense of sharing and self-sacrifice. This is an aspect of life at Trinity that is already a vital part of our congregation. We are praying that the Holy Spirit will enable us to become even more effective for His kingdom.

Has God gifted you in mercy, encouragement, or service? If so, please pray about using your gifts at Trinity and contact Judy Sullivan or Elaine Bonner.
